Could not have phrased it more simply and succinctly...
I hear the refrains often from newer men in our community...
I don’t want to burden you...
I’m fine. Came to support YOU all...
Good for some to own the strength but such a barrier...
Reminds me often how my neediness is the crack in the bowl that lets the light in and out... so it can be mended by others and mutually filled by us both...
Spot on you’ve beautifully articulated the journey from our societal model of independence to interdependence. As I like to Say think of how many people were involved in getting you your morning coffee. X
I'm so grateful for what you are bringing through your words Tad, and how, the energy underneath what you are expressing feels like real medicine for us, precisely at this time. You are opening a way for us to sense into how the imprints of colonization, patriarchy, or whatever we want to call the way we have been living for so long, lives in our bodies, in our habitual ways of feeling and seeing the world.

Thank you for such a clear assessment. Now I know better how to proceed.

I hear this so much! "I didn't want to bother you." I tell them I am a big girl and will let you know if it is a bother.
Can this be shared with the community I am a part of?
Love it:)
Beautiful, well said Tad, thank you
