If you don’t believe in yourself, I don’t blame you. It’s hard. And it was never your job to begin with. When someone says, “believe in yourself!”, it’s so worthless. It’s just words. And words aren’t food. So much of the meaning of your life is in the hands of others and the meaning they grant it by their actions and non-actions. When someone believes in you, there is no price that can be put on it.
'Risks and contradictions go on being socially produced; it is just the duty and the necessity to cope with them which are being individualized.' - Zygmunt Bauman
I can hear a chasm at the end of a sharply inhaled breath as I read this topic. It touches the grief of knowing truth laid bare. Beautifully penned. But more than this it offers a chance to allow our rich sadness to perhaps move us to change.
Beautiful series, and so true. Thank you.

Really good stuff Tad. Thank you thank you!
A true gem I'll be rereading and sharing over time.
